{"id":103,"date":"2015-06-14T02:15:41","date_gmt":"2015-06-13T17:15:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ajcp.info\/en\/?page_id=103"},"modified":"2021-02-19T19:19:08","modified_gmt":"2021-02-19T10:19:08","slug":"history-4","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.ajcp.info\/en\/index.php\/history-4\/","title":{"rendered":"History"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"width: 90%;\">\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">The Association of Japanese Clinical Psychology was established in 1982 with the aim of \u201ccontributing to the advancement and promotion of clinical psychology, and to the enhancement of members\u2019 capabilities and the stability of their status through collaboration and cooperation among those engaged in clinical psychology practices.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">The association became a general incorporated association in 2009, with the objective of, as described in its articles of incorporation, \u201cengaging in a wide variety of endeavors, such as research, surveys, promotion, and public education associated with clinical psychology, through cooperation among those engaged in clinical psychology practices, thereby contributing to the sound development of clinical psychology and enhancement of people\u2019s mental health.\u201d At the same time, we eliminated the distinction between full membership and associate membership, in order that those who were formerly restricted to associate membership due to limited experience in clinical psychology, such as graduate students in the master\u2019s program, could be granted full member status.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">As on October 31, 2020, the membership roll stood at 29,346 individuals and corporate members, including 28,985 full members, 352 honorary members, and 9 supporting members, making the association the leading psychological research organization with the most members in Japan.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The Association of Japanese Clinical Psychology was established in 1982 with the aim of \u201ccontributing to the a &#8230;","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"parent":0,"menu_order":2,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"page-onecolumn.php","meta":{"footnotes":""},"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.ajcp.info\/en\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/103"}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.ajcp.info\/en\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.ajcp.info\/en\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/page"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.ajcp.info\/en\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.ajcp.info\/en\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=103"}],"version-history":[{"count":5,"href":"https:\/\/www.ajcp.info\/en\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/103\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":511,"href":"https:\/\/www.ajcp.info\/en\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/103\/revisions\/511"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.ajcp.info\/en\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=103"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
